Philips Sonicare R710 HealthyWhite Power Toothbrush Review
The Philips Sonicare R710 has several differences which are well worth the price. It uses a ProResults brush-head. These brush heads snap in easily, cost less than comparable brush heads, and the brush handle traps less grime. The bristles of the Philips Sonicare R710 are durable and long lasting.

In addition to a standard cleaning cycle, the Philips Sonicare R710 has a second cycle that scrubs away stubborn stains. In this cycle, the last interval of the standard cycle is pulsed so that it breaks up visible stains on your teeth. As a warning, know that after this interval finishes, the brush motor stops. If you want to concentrate on hard to reach areas or brush your tongue, you will have to press the power button again.
The Philips Sonicare R710 also comes with a lithium-ion battery. This means that the brush is not only lighter, but the battery life is much longer. The battery charger is about half the size of the Sonicare Elite’s, but it lacks the ability to wrap the cord, unlike the charger of the Flexcare series. The R710 does come include a plate that holds two extra heads. The charge indicator of the Philips Sonicare R710 is a plain LED. If the LED is blinking, the power is below 50%. If the light’s solid, then the power’s above 50%. It might not be as fun to watch or as flashy as the Elite or FlexCare LEDs, but it gets the job done.
If you want a good electric toothbrush, the Philips Sonicare R710 is the one for you. It has all of the helpfully redesigned FlexCare features without any of the overly complicated modes or routines of the R732, and at a much nicer price.
